Karubabi Harvest School was founded in response to the felt needs of the Batwa community. When the local population was asked what they would like help with, they identified housing, health care and education. From here was birthed the vision for a school that would meet the educational needs of the children. Though the school was initiated in 2010, it gained private status in 2017. Now, there is great opportunity to shape the curriculum, the teaching methods, as well as to hire teachers that understand and are committed to the vision of the school.

At present, a high school is being built. Both a trade school and a technical school will be offered in order to best equip students to enter the marketplace.  A dormitory will facilitate students coming from around the country to be influenced and taught in this loving and encouraging community.
